Channeling our awareness into asking questions and building solutions.

THE MIRACLE KUTCHIE EXPERIENCE

We hold art therapy events, such as the Miracle Kutchie Experience, which takes a large group of children away from the city to create and enjoy themselves while easing their emotional trauma and physical ailments due to the exposure of radioactivity.

FUNDRAISING THROUGH ART

Annually, through donated works of art we hold our Today Is The Day Benefit Auction. Many of our wonderful humanitarian artists donate their works for this benefit and the proceeds from these pieces go directly to the children of Fukushima in order to fund their art retreats and relief programs.

SPEAKING WITH DOCTORS

We have been talking to doctors all over the world in order to track the effects and impacts of radiation over the Fukushima area. Through these talks we have learned more about solutions and how we can decrease the suffering of the children and people of Fukushima.

INTERNATIONAL TALKS AND LECTURES

We have held many international lectures and talks all throughout the world that educate the people on the issues that are often hidden and ignored by the public that are plaguing the lives of the children of Fukushima.

WHY FUKUSHIMA NEEDS OUR HELP

  • During the radioactive incident in Fukushima dangerous radioactive elements such as iodine and cesium were released into the Fukushima community. These elements found their way into the soil and water and can result in skin damage, thyroid damage, cancer, and death.

  • The people most at risk for these effects are the children and after the disaster in Fukushima the numbers of thyroid cancer cases in children under the age of 18 has drastically increased.

  • Furthermore, the emotional effects of this disaster and the tsunami in 2011 have resulted in great amounts of suicides caused by mental stress, despair, anxiety, and depression.
